Not long ago I figured that blogging is an effective way to promote websites, most of the blogs I am working on are wordpress based, its well known that WordPress is perfect for casual as well as professional bloggers, with the GPL liberal license make the wordpress the most popular weblog platform on the Internet.

Then I found out that I probably should build blogs myself, afterwards I can use the already built blogs to promote whatever I want, of course this is not a new idea, the existence of blog networks already says it all, but those are not my own sites and I don’t have control, and I have no way to post to those blogs, probably I will have to pay quite dearly to have my sites promoted.

If you have tried to maintain a few different blogs you will know its not easy, if you don’t like garbage on your blogs, to put real content on your site won’t be an easy job, remember real value is always difficult to achieve. I’ve seen quite a few real world examples, let’s examine this one, Dog Outdoor Play, it has a nice name, and it has a lot of interesting posts, though its not a theme focused blog, there are all kinds of posts on the site. One more example, Jade Crafts, this one has main theme, the content on the this site has a theme, and ranks well for quite a few keywords. there are more sites like these out there, but you should already see the point. Here is one last note, some of your blogs should not be very serious ones, let them get some content occasionally, such as this blog, Reflective or Regular Tie Down Strap, doing this right you will have a natural blogging networks.

After you successfully build a few blogs, add more blogs when you can, then use the established blogs to promote the new ones, this is the way to build your own blogging network. It sounds pretty simple, but to build a successful network will be much more complicated, one of the most important things is that don’t get your site dropped off index by major search engines.
